Joint ASD and ADHD Assessments
Autism and ADHD Assessments
It's quite common for people to have both ASD and ADHD. If you feel this may be the case for your child or young person, contact us to request a referral form, and our clinical team will review this and recommend the appropriate assessments.
If we're assessing your child or young person for both Autism and ADHD, the process will be exactly the same as with our separate ASD and ADHD assessments. Both assessments will be carried out by the same clinicians.
How do I refer for autism and ADHD Assessments?
If you have any questions, or if you'd like to make a referral, just send us a message. We'll answer any queries you have, and send you a copy of the referral form.
Following this, our clinical team conduct a free screening to confirm if assessments for ASD and ADHD with Sphere are appropriate for you and your child. We will then book your assessments in for the first available date - this is often within 8 weeks.
How does the joint Assessment work?
The assessment process is exactly the same when we're doing a joint assessment as when we do individual assessments for ASD and ADHD, and both assessments will be carried out by the same clinicians.
We will typically complete the Autism assessment first, followed by the ADHD assessment. The only difference when we do a joint assessment is that we don't need to take the General Developmental history twice, which makes the second assessment slightly shorter, and also means we can offer a discount for this.
For more information about the assessment processes, please see the pages for our ASD assessments and ADHD assessments, and if you have any questions, please do get in touch and we will answer them as quickly as possible.
